Trailer for George Clooney's 'The Ides of March'

Sony has unveiled an utterly fantastic new trailer for George Clooney's new movie called The Ides of March, an adaptation of the stage play by Farragut North. George Clooney stars as Governer Mike Morris and Ryan Gosling as a young, ambitions press secretary. It tells a thrilling story of a few days leading up to the Ohio presidential primary. This is pretty intense for just a trailer. The cast also includes Marisa Tomei, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Evan Rachel Wood and Paul Giamatti. I can't wait to see this, it looks fantastic, we're going to have quite the fall.

The Ides of March takes place during the frantic last days before the heavily contested Ohio presidential primary, when an up-and-coming campaign press secretary (Ryan Gosling) finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate's shot at the presidency. George Clooney not only directed the film, but also stars in it with Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jeffrey Wright. Sony Pictures has Ides of March scheduled for release on October 7th this fall, following a premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
